It was not only rushed, but really forced. Makorra is the cancer of the first season. It would have been much better without the pairing, and without Mako.
Worst of all are the Makorra fans... well, most of them.
They even defend Mako behaviour and tell me he wasn't cheating, and are downright rude and attacking anyone who says something against their pairing or tries to count all the things that are wrong with Makorra .___.
And I really disagree with that. It's the opposite - there were plenty of NaruHina fans who attacked me for no reason at all.

Don't blame everything on NaruSaku fans, okay? Because that is just stupid, NaruHina fans have done their part to spread hate as well.
You can hate Sakura as much as you want, but there are hints torwards NaruSaku, you have to admit that. Well, there are also hints torwards NaruHina, too. I'm not the biggest fan of Hinata, but she's okay. But NaruHina fans totally ruined the pairing for me, just like NaruSaku fans did for you.
She used to be better, right after the timeskip. But now she's just...
